Dalton Harum , Wenatchee HS / Wenatchee, WA.,had 11 hits in 24 at bats with 6 home runs, 15 RBIs and 8 runs. He also reached base another 6 times on walks/HBP.
Harum leads the league in RBIs with 37, is second in homers with 9 and has the third best batting average with a .402 mark.
"The week Dalton put together was scary," said Knights head coach Zach Clanton. "Every single time he came up you had a feeling he was going to do something special. Some guys will never hit 6 home runs in a season, let alone in a week. His approach is much improved and the confidence he is going to the plate with is on another level."
NWAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK - APRIL 18
Bryce Mulcahy, St. Helens HS / St. Helens, OR.,
"Bryce was electric on Friday vs Clark as he struck out 11 and walked 2 over 6.0 innings," said Titan head coach Josh Blunt. "8 of the 11 K's were swinging. Mulcahy gave up 1 hit and that runner was thrown out stealing. He had command of good breaking ball and established his fastball early."

Cole Mckenzie, Billings HS / Billings, MT., went 7 for 11 at the plate with 3 doubles, a triple, a homer, 7 RBIs, 7 walks and 10 runs to lead the 2nd-ranked Yaks to a four game sweep of Treasure Valley and Wenatchee Valley.
“Cole had a big week for us in all phases of the game, Cole is the reigning NWAC East MVP and does a great job setting the tone batting leadoff for us! Any time you can have that kind of production from the leadoff spot it is going to be a good week for the team!”
NWAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK - APRIL 11
Brock Townsend, Churchill HS / Eugene, OR., pitched only 2 batters over the minimum (29) allowing 3 hits, 0 walks and striking out 5. Townsend was able to go all 9 innings on a grand total of 90 pitches. Townsend's 1.64 ERA is 12th best in the conference.
"Brock was extremely efficient against Chemeketa on Friday," said Roadrunner head coach Ryan Gibson. "To throw 9 complete without walking any and doing so with 90 pitches shows how consistent of a strike thrower he is. In a weekend where our staff had multiple quality outings, Brock's stood out!

SOPHOMORE • PITCHER
Thomas Scheffler, Lake Washington HS / Kirkland, WA., pitched a gem against Blue Mountain last week to improve his record to 3-0 on the season. The 6'6" right hander tossed a three hit shutout with 16 strikeouts while issuing zero walks. Scheffler is now tied for the league's top mark in strikeouts with 41.
"We had to win and our ace threw the best game I have ever seen in this league," said Knights head coach Zach Clanton. "From pitch 1 to 117 the fastball was electric and he commanded the breaking ball for strikes. The tempo and the intensity that he pitched at was fun to watch. Not going to be a ton of arms better than this guy on a weekly basis."
NWAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK - APRIL 4
Johnny Sage, West Valley, HS / Spokane, WA., reached base 13 times on 7 hits including 3 doubles and 1 home run to go with 6 walks while avoiding any strikeouts. He accounted for 6 runs and 4 RBIs while accumulating a .636 batting average over 4 games for the 2nd-ranked Yaks.
“Sage is a Northern Colorado commit with a next level approach," said YVC head coach Kyle Krustangel. "He was on base 13 out of 18 plate appearances. Johnny is off to a great start and has lead the way to the Yaks' great start.”

Tucker Stroup, Timberline HS / Lacey, WA., pitched a three hit, nine strikeout shutout of third-ranked Everett helping the Raiders to a 7-0 win. Stroup is now 2-1 on the season with a 2.00 ERA.
"Over the past few months, Tucker has started to grow into the potential that we saw when we recruited him to Pierce," said Raider head coach Kevin Davis. "He’s become one of the leaders of our young pitching staff, and we’re looking forward to even more growth as the season progresses."
NWAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK - MARCH 29
Elijah Johnson (Chehalis, WA / W.F. West HS) helped lead fifth-ranked Tacoma to four wins over Skagit Valley and Big Bend. Johnson had 6 hits in 12 at bats for a .500 batting average. He reached base a total of 18 times in the four games and blasted a pair of home runs including a grand slam. He also collected 6 runs and 10 RBI's to go with 2 stolen bases. Johnson is now batting .392 (16th in the NWAC) with 17 RBIs (16th)
"Elijah has really made a jump this year," said Titan head coach Ryan Mummert. "He was one of the guys I thought could breakout in his 2nd year and he has done just that and maybe even more. He is a tremendous worker and is a big key for our success this Spring."

Dalton Chapman, West Anchorage HS / Anchorage, AK, pitched a 7 inning complete game no-hitter with 6 strikeouts to earn his sixth win on the season.
Chapman is currently 6th in the NWAC in ERA (1.71) his 6 win is 10th and his 56 strikeouts is 16th.
NWAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK - MAY 9
Lower Columbia freshman Ricky Muzzy, South Whidbey HS / Freeland, WA, helped the Red Devils to three wins over 7th-ranked Tacoma last week. He had 8 hits in 13 at bats for a .615 batting average including a triple, an RBI while scoring 5 runs.
Muzzy is currently batting .338 on the season.

BELLEVUE - FRESHMAN - OUTFIELD
Grant Harris, Inglemoor HS / Bothell, WA, helped lead fifth-ranked Bellevue to three wins over top-ranked Everett in a four game series.
Harris had 6 hits in 14 at bats for a .429 batting average. He blasted a pair of three run homers including one against Everett pitching ace Curtis Bafus. He also collected 5 runs, a double and 4 walks against the league's third ranked pitching staff.
NWAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK - MAY 9
Yakima Valley freshman Gerald Hein, Kennewick HS / Kennewick, WA, led the Yaks to victory over Spokane pitching 8 shutout innings with 9 strikeouts while allowing only 2 hits.
Hein currently leads the NWAC in strikeouts with 77 and is 18th in ERA (2.38).

EVERETT - FRESHMAN - SHORTSTOP
Nic Anderson, Marysville-Pilchuck HS / Marysville, WA, went 9 of 18 at the plater for a .500 batting average including 4 doubles and a home run to score 4 runs and drive in 12 RBIs to lead the Trojans to a 4-1 record on the week including 3 wins over top-ranked Edmonds.
Anderson is now batting .352 on the season. He is 5th in the league in doubles and 17th in RBIs.
NWAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK - MAY 3
Chemeketa sophomore Kordell Vasbinder, Skyview HS / Vancouver, WA, was named Pitcher of the Week. Vasbinder tossed a 3 hit shutout over Clark with 6 strikeouts. He has now thrown 16 consecutive scoreless innings.
Vasbinder is currently 2nd in the NWAC in wins with 7 and a 2.37 ERA.

EVERETT - SOPHOMORE - PITCHER
Curtis Bafus, Inglemoor HS / Woodinville, WA, pitched a 7 inning perfect game against Olympic College to improve his record to 3-1 on the season. Bafus struck out 9 of the 21 batters he faced improving his ERA to 1.92.
He is currently second in the NWAC in strikeouts with 59 and his ERA ranks 8th in the league.
NWAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK - APRIL 25
Bellevue freshman Brennen Hancock, Cascade HS / Everett, WA, was named Player of the Week. In four games last week, he went 9 of 15 at the plate for a .600 BA, including 4 doubles, 2 home runs and collected 9 RBIs to go with the 4 runs he scored.
Hancock is currently sixth in the league in doubles and is hitting for a .305 batting average.

LOWER COLUMBIA - SOPHOMORE - PITCHER/UTILITY
Taylor Davis, Todd Beamer HS / Federal Way, WA, appeared in five LCC wins over the week. In 18 at bats he had 9 hits including a double and a homer to tally 11 RBIs and 5 runs and a stolen base. He also helped on the mound collecting a 5 inning win allowing no runs.
Davis in now #2 in the NWAC in pitching wins (5). He is second on LCC's roster in batting average (.370) and third in RBIs (18).
NWAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK - APRIL 17
Yakima Valley sophomore Hunter Boyd, Moses Lake HS / Moses Lake, WA, was named Pitcher of the Week. He pitched a 9 inning shutout over Spokane allowing no runs on 5 hits and 8 strikeouts.
Boyd is currently #2 in the league in strikeouts with 52.

EDMONDS - FRESHMAN - CATCHER
Nathaniel Sagdahl, Decatur HS / Federal Way, WA, helped lead Edmonds to a 3-1 series against 3rd-ranked Bellevue over the week. In the four games, Sagdahl had 9 hits in 17 at bats for a .529 BA. He tallied 6 runs, 4 doubles, 1 home run, 10 RBIs and additionally reached base twice on 2 HBP.
On the season, Sagdahl is 4th in batting average (.418) and 11th in RBIs (23). He has played flawless defense with no errors.
NWAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK - APRIL 10
Pierce sophomore Mac McCarty, South Kitsap HS / Port Orchard, WA, was named Pitcher of the Week. McCarty tossed a nine inning complete game win, allowing three hits and no earned runs on 12 strikeouts.

Austin Pinorini, Cascade HS / Everett, WA, had 10 hits on 27 at bats for a .417 batting average with 6 doubles, 1 triple, 1 home run, 12 RBIs, 7 runs, 0 strikeouts and reached base an additional 2 times on a walk and HBP.
Pinorini now ranks 9th in the league in RBIs with 20.
NWAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK - APRIL 3
Southwestern Oregon sophomore Dylan Pearce, Crater HS / Central Point, OR, was named the Pitcher of the Week. Pearce went 8 scoreless innings giving up 4 hits and a base on balls while striking out 14 batters.
Pearce ranks ninth in the NWAC in ERA with 1.39 and is 5th in strikeouts with 36.

Mitchell Cox, Shadle Park HS / Spokane, WA, batted .563 in 4 wins over Skagit Valley last week. Cox 9 hits with 2 base on balls, 4 runs, 2 home runs and 6 RBIs.
Cox is currently 8th in the league in batting average (.429) and tied for 3rd in home runs with 3.
NWAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK - MARCH 27
Lower Columbia freshman Jared Akin, Liberty HS / Hillsboro, OR was named the Pitcher of the Week. Akin was pivotal in a pair of wins last week including a 5 inning shut out against 2nd-ranked Edmonds in a 3-0 LCC win. In 9 innings of work, he allowed 4 hits with an ERA of 0.00.
Baseball Players of the Week - May 17
Kade Kryzsko, Lower Columbia, Sophomore, Infielder
Kryzsko went 9 of 17 for a .539 batting average in five LCC games last week leading the Red Devils to four wins. He had 2 doubles, 2 triples a home run, 1 walk, 2 HBP and tallied 7 LCC RBIs including 4 runs of his own.
Kryzsko also pitched a win for the Devils and is 4-1 on the season with an overall batting average of .400.
Nathan Hunter, Mt. Hood, Sophomore, Pitcher
Hunter had a 4 hit 9 inning complete game shutout of SW Oregon while mowing down 8 batters on K's. He is now 5-3 on the season with a 4.81 ERA and 41 strikeouts.
Baseball Players of the Week - May 11
Garret Hull, Spokane, Freshman, Center Fielder
Hull helped lead the Sasquatch to a 3-1 record last week on his .500 batting average. In 16 at bats he had 8 hits and a walk including a 3-run homer and 8 RBIs.
In addition, Hull has played error-free ball in 24 games played.
Dominic DeMiero, Bellevue, Freshman, Pitcher
DeMiero had a nine inning complete game shoutout of Shoreline last week with 8 strikeouts.
He has played a part in 4 of Bellevue's shutouts this season and has posted a 6-1 record with a 2.62 ERA (top 20). His 57 Ks is fifth in the league while his 6 wins is tied for sixth.
Baseball Players of the Week - May 4
Shane Hanon, Edmonds, Freshman, Center Fielder
Hanon had a dynamite four games series leading the sixth-ranked Tritons to three victories over top-ranked Bellevue. He went 11-15 for a .733 batting average with 3 doubles, 5 runs, 2 stolen bases, 5 RBIs and also reached base another six times on 5 walks and 1 HBP.
Hanon is batting .373 on the season, tied for 6th best BA and has played error free fielding in 29 games this season.
Garrett Westberg, Tacoma, Freshman, Pitcher
Westberg enjoyed a rare feat in baseball with a 7 inning perfect game as he sat down 21 batters, 10 on strikeouts, in Tacoma's 9-0 win over Green River Saturday.
Westberg is now 5-1 on the season for the fifth-ranked Titans with a 3.40 ERA.
Baseball Players of the Week - April 26
Bowen Ogata - Mt. Hood, Sophomore, Catcher
Ogata helped the Saints to three wins on 6 for 8 hitting (.750 BA) with 2 doubles, 2 runs and 7 RBIs. He also reached base another 4 times on 2 walks and 2 HBP.
Ogata is currently in the league top twenty in batting average (.337) and RBIs (21).
Cameron Walker - Walla Walla, Sophomore, Pitcher-Utility
Walker powered the Warriors to a 1-0 shutout over 5th-Ranked Yakima Valley. He tossed 7 strikeouts in eight innings of work while allowing just 4 hits and 2 walks.
Walker is now 4-2 on the season with a 3.09 ERA and 35 strikeouts (tied 20th).
Baseball Players of the Week - April 18
Taylor Adams, Tacoma, Freshman, Outfielder
In five wins last week, Adams led the Titans with a .667 battling average on 15 at bats, 10 hits, 7 runs, 2 triples, 4 walks, 5 RBIs and a home run.
Adams' .384 battling average is tied for 7th overall in the league.
Tyler Laird, Treasure Valley, Freshman, Pitcher
Laird was pivotal in a pair wins this past week for the Chukars. He compiled a 0.00 ERA on no hits and 7 strikeouts in seven innings of relief work while notching a win and a save.
Laird is now 2-0 with a save and a 2.03 ERA in 17.2 innings on the season.
Baseball Players of the Week - April 11
Tanner Parker, Yakima Valley, Freshman, Shortstop
In 18 at bats last week, Parker had a .500 batting average with 7 runs. nine hits, including three doubles and 5 RBIs to help propel the Yaks to four wins over #4-ranked Columbia Basin and Wenatchee Valley.
Parker's overall batting average of .402 ranks 8th in the league. He is 3rd in hits with 35 and tied for 2nd with 10 doubles.
Cody Anderson, Bellevue, Sophomore, Pitcher
Anderson turned in 8.1 scoreless innings and 13 strikeouts in a 3-0 Bellevue shutout of region rival Douglas College.
Anderson is now 4-0 on the season for the top-ranked Bulldogs with a 0.94 ERA (#4 in the league) while his 51 strikeouts is a league best.
Baseball Players of the Week - April 4
Jake Vieth - Tacoma, Sophomore, First Base
Vieth enjoyed a .600 batting average during 2 games last week, reaching base 6 times (single, double, HR, BB & 2 HBP) with 4 RBIs.
Vieth is currently 2nd in the NWAC with a .513 batting average, tied for 1st in RBIs (23) and tied for 2nd in doubles with 9.
Kyle Keith - Lane, Sophomore, Pitcher
Keith only allowed two batters to reach base in 7 innings with 6 K's in 1-0 win over Linn Benton. He held potent LBCC batter Colton Cosner (.412 BA) hitless while striking him out 3 times.
Keith is sporting a 2.14 ERA on the season and is 2-1 with 19K's.
Baseball Players of the Week - March 28
The NWAC is pleased to announce the Baseball Players of the Week for March 21-28.
Jordan Ross, Spokane, Freshman, Infielder
Ross reached base in 14 of his 18 at bats (11 hits, 2 BB, 1 HBP) in four wins over Clackamas. He tallied 6 runs, 2 doubles and 6 RBIs to go with his .611 batting average on the week.
Ross is currently tied for 2nd in the NWAC in batting average with .500 in 54 plate appearances; tied for 8th in runs scored (14); tied for 2nd in hits (27) and 11th in RBIs (13).
Keenan Lum, Pierce, Sophomore, Pitcher
Lum tossed a no-hitter against Chemeketa, while mowing down 10 batters on strikeouts. A pair of walks and a Pierce throwing error were the only things holding back Lum from a perfect game as he compiled 78 strikes in 120 pitches.
Lum is currently 5th in strikeouts with 26. His overall 2.03 ERA is tied for 22nd best.
