LONGVIEW— In the afternoon tilt, Pierce asserted their will from the first pitch. With timely hitting and a little help from the Mt. Hood defense, the first 8 Raider batters would reach base. Hood committed 3 errors on the inning leading to 5 Pierce runs.

Rayven Kahana and Hudson Byorick both collected RBI singles but all 5 Raider runs were scored as unearned.

Pierce also scored a run in the third, fourth and fifth innings with Kahana and Carter Johnson both collecting RBIs in 4th and 5th inning respectively.

In the sixth, Hood plated 2 runs on a sacrifice fly from Nolan McCall and an RBI single from Isaac Benard.

Kahana finished the day 3-6 with 2 RBIs and a run scored. Mt. Hood was lead by Isaac Benard who was 2-4 with an RBI.

Fours runs would be much more than sophomore RHP Kade Kryzsco needed. The LCC starter went 7 innings giving up no runs on 5 hits while striking out 4.

After the first, The Devils scored a pair in the 4th off of an RBI double from Taylor Davis and a sac fly from Toby Johnson.

Kryzsco continued his dominate ways going untouched into the 7th where the Devils scored three more. Benny Kaleiwahea notched an RBI single while Kryzsco had a sac fly.

Freshman RHP Anthony Brink came in and shut the door on the Bellevue hitters striking out 4 in 2 innings of work.
