Baseball Championship: Everett ends Bellevue's season with 8-6 win

LONGVIEW — North region powerhouses squared off for the right to be the remaining North team still in the tournament.
Bellevue jumped out quick to a 3-0 lead in the first inning with 2 RBIs from Eli Gallo who doubled to left and an RBI sac fly from Joe Wainhouse.
Everett regained the lead in the bottom of the frame scoring 4 runs on 5 hits lead by Tate Budnick who singled in 2 runs. The Trojans added another run in the 3rd off of a towering home run from Josh McIntyre to make it 5-3.
The Bulldogs came over the top in the 6th with 3 runs on 2 Everett miscues and an RBI double from Wainhouse.
Everett held strong with another home run, this time by Budnick to even the score at 6-6. Tanner Arrington would break the tie in the bottom of the 7th with a hard hit single that scored 2 runs for the Trojans.
Lucas Jungmann, the starter for Everett threw 5 innings and allowed 6 runs on 6 hits but it was Ryan Monson who was credited with the win with 4 innings of scoreless relief scattering 5 hits while striking out 5.
Everett will play Lower Columbia on Sunday at 1:05pm
