Former MP and Oregon State standout to coach EvCC baseball

Kyle Nobach, who won a national title with the Beavers in June, will be the Trojans’ associate head coach.
EVERETT — Former Everett Community College and Oregon State baseball player Kyle Nobach has accepted a postion as the associate head coach of the EvCC baseball team, the team announced through Twitter on Tuesday.
Nobach, who graduated from Marysville Pilchuck High School in 2013, is coming off a senior season in which he won a national championship with the Beavers at the College Wolrd Series in Omaha, Nebraska.
As a senior Nobach slashed .299/.413/.538 with 10 doubles, six home runs, 31 RBI in 46 games after missing the 2017 season with a knee injury. He hit .280 with seven doubles, two home runs and 24 RBI as a junior and recieved an All-Pac-12 honorable mention as sophomore in 2015, hitting .317 with 15 doubles, two home runs and 27 RBI.
In three seasons with the Beavers, Nobach totaled 32 doubles, 10 home runs, 82 RBI and 10 stolen bases while slashing .299/.388/.449.
Nobach hit .321 with six doubles, three triples, a home run and 13 RBI as a freshman with the Trojans in 2014 before transferring to Oregon State.
Nobach was a first-team All-Wesco 3A selection his junior and senior seasons at Marysville Pilchuck.
