NWAC Community Service Project
Boys and Girls Club of Snohomish County LogoThe NWAC is pleased to announce our 2016 NWAC Basketball Championship Tournament community service project with the Boys and Girls Club of Snohomish County.

The NWAC is asking that student-athletes from the teams competing in the championship tournament bring non-perishable food items to the tournament, March 10-13 to be collected by representatives from the Boys and Girls Club-Everett and then distributed to local families in need.

It is our goal that each student-athlete will bring anywhere between 2-5 non-perishable (canned or otherwise) food items which would total over 700 items amongst all of our competing teams.  Please work with your student-athletes on this important endeavor as the NWAC continues to honor Character, Competition and Community.

The Boys and Girls Club of Snohomish County has 20 Clubs and 15 extension sites providing programs that help over 18,000 youth achieve academic success, live healthy and active lifestyles, and develop good character and leadership skills. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County is a non-profit organization providing young people ages 5-18 with a safe and positive place to spend their time before and after school and during the summer. Clubs are strategically located in neighborhoods and are accessible to all kids. Since 1946, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County has been helping kids from tough neighborhoods stay out of trouble, stay in school and succeed in life.
