NWAACC announces partnership with Washington National Guard
VANCOUVER, WA - The Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges today announced the creation of a sponsorship with the Washington National Guard.
The partnership will provide the Washington National Guard exposure to two-year college athletes including signage at NWAACC events, opportunities to speak with college athletic directors, and college leaders, media marketing, and opportunities to build relationships throughout college communities in Washington and Oregon.
The NWAACC endeavors to create meaningful partnerships that provide support to the NWAACC while also providing additional resources and opportunities to its student-athletes. The Washington National Guard creates avenues for student-athletes to pursue career, and four-year degree options at free or reduced costs to its student population.
The sponsorship makes the Washington National Guard one of the ‘big four’ sponsors of the NWAACC Conference along with current NWAACC sponsors Alaska Airlines, Baden Balls, and Red Lion Hotels.
The Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges is the governing body of 34 two-year colleges in Washington, and Oregon, with one member institution in Canada. The NWAACC has over 3,000 student-athletes, with a collective student population well over 500,000.
