Bellevue assistant Bryan Stevens takes reins of BC Golf program

Bryan StevensBryan Stevens enters his first year as Head Coach at Bellevue College after three years as the assistant coach for BC.

Stevens takes over for former coach Kirk Johansen, who has taken a new job outside of the golf industry, but will remain on staff in limited capacity as an assistant.

Stevens played locally at Interlake HS and then in college at the University of Washington. After winning the Seattle City Amateur in 1997, he turned professional and played mini-tours from 1997-2001, but found his real passion in teaching and coaching. He works with many successful high school, college and professional players and is very excited to be leading the growth and success of the Bellevue College Golf program.

Stevens is a K-Vest Level 2 certified instructor, a Titleist Certified Club Fitter and staff professional as well as being TPI Certified. He is an instructor at the Bear Creek Learning and Fitting Center which features V1 hi-speed video analysis software, K-Vest 3-D Motion Training, FlightScope launch monitor and Titleist, TaylorMade and Ping fitting equipment.

Stevens has also added a new assistant, Shawn Farmer Sese, who enjoyed a stellar four-year career on the women's golf team at Eastern Washington University. Farmer Sese is a golf fitness specialist who recently participated on the Washington team in the U.S. State Team Golf Championships, a prestigious event run by the United States Golf Association for the top amateur golfers in the nation.
