Don Sweet

Wenatchee Valley College
Class of 1998

A basketball and baseball player at WVC between 1967-69, he transferred to Washington State University in 1969 and became a kicker for the Cougars' football team. In his senior season, was selected first team all-Pac 8 conference and was listed in "Street & Smith's" as one of the top four kickers in the nation. Went on to play 17 years with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League. He was a CFL all-star five times and played in five Grey Cups. Still holds CFL records in field goals in one game (6) and most points in one game (23). Currently teaching in the Abbotsford (BC) school system. Recently, he has raised over $100,000 for various children's charities.
