Kevin Hagen was a right-handed pitcher for Bellevue during the 1979 baseball season under Hall of Fame coach Ray Washburn. Kevin was instrumental in advancing to and securing the 1979 NWAACC championship. During the 1979 season, Kevin pitched 75 innings and had an ERA of 1.68.

In 1980, Hagen was drafted in the fourth round by the St. Lois Cardinals. Kevin spent from 1980-1989 in the pro ranks where he accumulated an 88-86 record with 665 strikeouts in 1,477 innings. During the 1983 and 1984 season, Hagen made 13 appearances for the St. Louis Cardinals, earning three wins.

In 1990, Kevin turned down a contract with the Philadelphia Phillie's to become a firefighter in Kent, Washington.
