Scott Johnson

Clackamas Community College
Class of 1993

First Sports Information Director for the OCCAA. Former basketball player at Clackamas, he received a degree in Journalism from the University of Oregon. Returned to Clackamas and performed S.I.D. duties for the Cougars and the OCCAA for four years. His 1975 football program was first in the nation in the NJCAA for excellence. Became assistant S.I.D. at Oregon State for five years and won national awards each year including his 1977-78 wrestling media guide (selected best in the nation by CoSIDA) and 1979 baseball media guide (selected first in the nation by the Collegiate Baseball Writers Association). Became the head S.I.D. at Fresno State in 1981 where he won ten national awards. Since 1991, he has been Assistant Athletic Director for Communications at FSU handling radio/television and overseeing sports information.
