Coached women's basketball at GRCC from 1979-80 to 1990-91. Gators won NWAACC championships in 1985 and 1987, and were runner-up in 1986. During that time, they made seven consecutive trips to the NWAACC Tournament won eight Western Region titles, and had an overall record of 239-100. Two-time NWAACC Coach of the Year recipient and was region Coach of the Year five times. A former Gator basketball player in 1967-68 and 1969-70, he was an all-NWAACC second team selection in 1970. Also participated in the high jump in track. Went on to play both sports at Pacific Lutheran University before coaching boys basketball at Tahoma HS. Returned to GRCC to coach and serve as their Director of Career Planning and Placement, Director of High School Relations, and Assistant Director of Development. After leaving Green River, he was the head boys basketball coach at Kennedy High School in Burien for nine years and is now Director of College Counseling at Bellarmine Prep in Tacoma.
