Trina Rogers was a track and field athlete at Clackamas from 1998-2000. In 1999 and 2000, Rogers won the NWAACC title in the javelin. In 1999, she set and currently still holds the junior college record in the javelin with a throw of 169’5”.

In 2000, Rogers placed eighth at the U.S. Olympic Trials. After Clackamas, she went on to compete at Boise State University where she was a two-time West Region champion. In 2003, she was ranked 4th in the United States in the javelin.

Rogers currently holds the Clackamas CC record for the javelin and is second all-time at Boise State. Rogers also participated in women’s basketball during her time at Clackamas.
