1994 & 1995 Men's Track & Field Teams
The 1994 and 1995 Clark track and field teams both won the NWAACC championship. The back-to-back title broke a 32 year hiatus from the top step for the Penguins. The 1994 team was led by Ernie Ammons who as the meets high point winner. In 1994, the team narrowly defeated Clackamas in the championship (hosted by Mt. Hood at Lewis and Clark College in Portland)meet by four points 163 to 159. The Penguins won the five individual and the 400 meter relay. During the 1994 season, Clark suffered only one loss to Clackams at the Southern Region Championships. There were five men who went on to be NAIA and NCAA All-Americans and two Olympic Trial Qualifiers all getting major scholarships.
