SPOKANE, WA—Alysha Overland knows about success on the soccer pitch. The Moses Lake High School graduate helped the Chiefs to league and district championships. She was also named all-state along with her twin sister, Stephanie.

This season as a freshman with the Community Colleges of Spokane (CCS) Bigfoot Alysha is turning heads with a campaign that so far has produced 27 goals and 9 assists in all matches. The Bigfoot are not done playing yet. They host an NWAC quarterfinal match on Saturday at noon against Everett.

Alysha and Stephanie have been featured locally due to their athletic abilities, as the video below from when they were juniors at MLHS shows.

In college Alysha’s soccer numbers have turned the spotlight on her, though both girls are playing for Spokane. Stephanie has 2 goals and 2 assists for CCS, including (video) a recent  match-winner. As seniors both girls excelled in soccer. Alysha scored 37 goals.
