Clackamas softball alums Kylie Gonzales and Emily Marchbanks move on to play at next level

Emily Marchbanks | P | R/R | Sweet Home, OR

image of Emily MarchbanksPitcher Emily Marchbanks is a junior college transfer from Clackamas Community College.

The Sweet Home, Ore. native was named to the NWAC all-tournament team and the South Region first team after posting a 21-5 overall record and a 2.85 ERA. In 2015, she was a region all-star and second team pitcher.

Marchbanks has been inducted into the Sweet Home HS Hall of Fame.

Kylie Gonzales | 3B | R/R | Hubbard, Ore.

image of Kylie GonzalesThe Hubbard, Ore. native was a South Region All-Star for the CCC Cougars during their run to a third place finish in the NWAC Championship Tournament in 2015. Gonzales batted .379 as a freshman, and finished with a team leading eight homeruns and 24 RBIs.

Before attending Clackamas, Gonzales was a four-time 1st All-League infielder in the Tri-Valley Conference at North Marion High School. She was also named Tri-Valley Player of the Year as a sophomore and was named 1st Team All-State in the Oregon as a sophomore, junior, and senior.

Gonzales will also be part of the Egan's plan to rebuild the UGF infield while also adding a power hitting element to the lineup after UGF graduated its 2016 homerun leader, Alex Lowry
