Job announcement: Assistant Softball Coach - Clark College

Clark College, a 2-year community college located in Vancouver, WA, is currently accepting applications for the position of Assistant Coach, Softball to begin immediately.  Under the supervision of the Head Coach, this part-time position will oversee all aspects of the softball program within the athletic department and with the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC) policy and regulations.  Clark College welcomes athletic coaches with a vision of excellence in coaching and a commitment to lead students to successful academic, vocational and athletic achievement. Clark seeks coaches who have the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, staff and others in a campus climate that promotes cultural diversity and multicultural understanding.

The assistant coach reports directly to the Head Coach. Such duties include, but are not limited to: teaching softball skills, game preparation, enforcing training rules, recruiting within the rules and regulations of the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC), assisting in transportation of teams, assisting in field maintenance. The softball season has a fall season (non-traditional) that is in September and October, and the spring season that begins in January and ends in late May.
