“Megan is a red-shirt sophomore that has worked on her game to bring it to a high level. She has developed into a consistent, clutch hitter that produces RBI’s for our team. Seli Aholeli, Henry J. Kaiser HS / Honolulu, HI., pitched 9 innings while collecting a pair of wins with 14 strikeouts while allowing only 1 earned run, 3 hits and no walks.

Aholeli leads the league in strikeouts with 138, is second in wins with 14 and third in ERA with 2.46.

"Seli is a strong leader on and off the field," said Triton head coach Sheryl Gilmore. "Her growth and maturity over the past year has really set her apart in the circle. She is getting ahead of batters, commanding the zone well, and is mentally tough enough to battle through tight situations. She has earned the trust of her teammates and she has a unique way of instilling confidence in everyone around her."
