Job announcement: Softball Head Coach & Academic Advisor – Walla Walla Community College

Walla Walla Community College (WWCC) is accepting applications to fill a Head Softball Coach/Academic Advisor position. The successful candidate will oversee and manage all aspects of the Walla Walla Community College Softball program and fulfill the role of Academic Advisor.

General Responsibilities:
The Head Softball Coach oversees and manages all aspects of the Walla Walla Community College Women's Softball Program.  These aspects include but are not limited to recruitment and retention of student-athletes, budget development and management, fundraising components for the program, scheduling and management of contests, facility management for practices and contests,  and all other aspects necessary for the operation of a first-class Softball program.  The Softball coach will report directly to the Director of Athletics of Walla Walla Community College.

The Academic Advisor assists in the delivery of services to enhance the retention and completion results of students at WWCC. These services may include career exploration, education planning, funding triage, general systems navigation and intrusive academic advising. The Academic Advisor also provides drop-in services for the Advising and Counseling Center including providing information on programs of study, information about the application and enrollment process, as well as assistance with finding appropriate financial resources to support their educational plan. 

This position will remain open until filled. For priority consideration, applications should be received by August 1, 2018.

Salaray: $50,000-$53,000
