2007 NWAACC Softball Championship- Games 5-8

Everett 6-10-0
Columbia Basin 4-5-1

Everett earned their fourth ever tournament win by beating a tough Columbia Basin team. The Trojans received great hitting managing 10 hits. Columbia Basin will fall into the losers' bracket where they will have to work hard to come from behind to get back to the championship game where they were in 2005, which is also their last tournament appearance.

South Puget Sound 3-6-2

Lower Columbia started their title defence by playing a solid game against South Puget Sound. Three homeruns in the game were more than the Clippers could handle who also committed two errors.

Wenatchee Valley 4-10-3
Peninsula 1-5-0
W- York
L- Rosencrants
HR- Jones (WVC)


Eastern Region champion Wenatchee Valley came out swinging in their first tournament game. The Knights overcame three errors by strong hitting and a timely homerun by Kellie Jones.

Clackamas 7-14-1
Highline 1-2-1
W- Santos
L- Herried
HR- Schell (CLCC)

Clackamas dominated this game from beginning to end never giving the Thunderbirds hope of winning the game. Clackamas begins their bid improve from their second place finish in 2006 when they lost in the championship game to Lower Columbia.
