SPOKANE -- Skagit Valley collected five singles title matches and two doubles titles to claim the 2013 team tennis championship Saturday in Spokane under sunny conditions.

Skagit Valley's title snapped a 8 year championship run by Bellevue led by head coach Jason Chapman.

Bellevue's Rixing Xu cruised to an easy victory over Skagit Valley's Sarah Tuemmler 6-0. 6-0 to claim the #1 singles championship.

Tuemmler did get the best of Xu earlier in the day when she and teammate Christa Spitler defeated Xu and Sadie Dedon 6-4, 6-4 to take the #1 doubles championship.

Skagit Valley coach Kim Sommerville was named the Women's Coach of the Year.
