Male Track Athlete of the Week
Shane Weldon, Clark College, Freshman
Outstanding Performance Meet: Linfield Erik Anderson Icebreaker
Event: 10,000m Mark: 32:00.18
Coaches' Comments: Shane’s performance was the 3rd fastest 10,000 in Clark history. Shane is another academically inclined student. His fall quarter GPA was a 3.67 at 17 credits. This 10k was one of 2 opportunities that Shane has to run the event this year. He did not waste this one, and got to work on the season immediately at the year’s 2009 opener. Another coach wrote “Blistering 10,000m opener.”
