When I signed Lindsay, I was actually recruiting her best friend. Lindsay decided to come to Clackamas as a good player, but not a well-known one. At Clackamas, she immediately began to stand out. She was very coachable, worked hard and dedicated herself, and by the end of her career she became first team allleague and an AVCA First Team All-American. She became very well-known and respected on the court!

The Cougars earned a 2nd place NWAACC finish in her second year, with Lindsay as the team leader.  She also earned first team all-conference and Hall of Fame honors (2011) at Eastern New Mexico University (EMU). Lindsay has also earned Hall of Fame honors at Clackamas (2012). Lindsay graduated from EMU with honors (as well as at Clackamas) in nursing and is now a nurse in Lubbock, Texas. She is married to husband Chance, and they recently had their first child, Kyler Mitchell Vineyard.

Lindsay earned a ton of honors in her career in volleyball and is now receiving honors in her profession. She was honored for excellence by coworkers at her place of employment. Everyone loves Lindsay, and she creates success wherever she goes.

Lindsay is everything a coach wants in a student-athlete. She came in and worked hard and committed to her team and school. She graduated with honors, got a full scholarship and continued her dominance at the next level. She then earned herself a great job and is making a name for herself in her profession.

She is married, happy and is starting a family of her own -that is success on every level. I am so proud of Lindsay, and if anyone is worthy of recognition and an example of what coaches strive for in our athletes, it is her."
