Kenzo Surget, Men's Soccer Defensive - Shoreline
Freshman • Goalkeeper
Perpignan, France
Surget had a shutout in net as he led Shoreline to a 2-0 victory over Edmonds. He made four saves in goal to help Shoreline secure two wins in the first half of a regular season for the first time in 10 years. He also contributed offensively with a rare keeper assist as he kicked the ball high up the field for a nice control by Shaqir Diallo who scored the first goal against Edmonds in the 34th minute.
"Kenzo was exceptional against Edmonds," said head coach Obed Kouassi. "Away from family and friends, he is trying to adapt to his new life in the U.S. He was instrumental in our 2nd win of the season. What makes it exceptional is that he even got an assist during the game. Kenzo is showing great character at just 17 yrs old."
